Why This Reference Exists
Iowa law makes current and prior arrest information public in many cases, but the records do not all live in one system. The Mills County Sheriff's Office creates county booking records and operates the jail. Its mobile app is the reported current-inmate and photo channel, while Iowa Courts Online shows what happens later in a case. The Iowa Department of Corrections maintains a separate search for sentenced people in state custody. This site organizes those official paths and explains when a direct public-records request may be needed. It does not copy or display a gallery of booking photos.
What Readers Can Find
The site's pages separate current custody, dated reports, notification tools, and city-specific arrest routes:
- The Mills County recent arrests hub covers current inmates, booking records, warrants, booking-image law, corrections, and official request options.
- Arrests Last 24 Hours explains the same-day view, while the Police Blotter addresses multi-day sheriff reports.
- The VINELink Custody Check explains IowaVINE searches and custody-change alerts.
- Separate pages explain the official arrest routes for Glenwood, Malvern, and Emerson.
